Beautiful wine

Still opening up 20 mins in. Decanting it for Ryan’s birthday. Yes it’s 3 times older than him but such is life.

Drinking beautifully right now. 12 years old, but still very fresh and fruit forward. Has big flavors of black fruit, dark chocolate, and oak. Big and powerful.

This is a powerhouse wine, drinking beautifully 12 years in. Deep & rich black fruit with currants & spice on the mid palate and a long finish. This wine will stand up to the best of Napa as well as Bordeaux, Oz & the Super Tuscans.

A drinkable Leonetti, showing the ripe blackberry that typifies Washington CS to me but without the excessive vanilla wood that would make it unpleasantly cloying.

Drinking very well right now with a good decant. Classic Cabernet flavors of black fruits, currents and a bit of tobacco. Great structure and a lengthy finish. Very nice.
