All these guys do is make delicious, pretty wines. Medium burgundy color with light ruby undertones in the glass. Definitely needs some decent decanting. Ripe red fruits, fresh, fragrant herbs, and rose petals on the nose. This is an almost perfectly balanced Pinot, with nice complexity and depth. Restrained and elegant, there’s a nice level of complexity here that you’re just not going to find in most California Pinots. And as elegant as I say it is, she still has plenty of dirty funk going on. Beautiful cranberries, tart cherries, and tobacco smoke absolutely shine on the palate. White pepper, forest floor, and a bit of cinnamon play along, as well. Good length on the finish with peppered vanilla. I love these Santa Barbara wines. I really love these Liquid Farm wines. Outstanding stuff.
