The 2022 Pinot Noir (Santa Barbara County) is a stellar appellation-level wine. Bright and vibrant, with terrific depth, the 2022 possesses striking energy, expressive, pliant fruit and fabulous balance. Crushed red berries, white pepper, mint and rose petal all grace this exquisite Pinot Noir. This is, without question, one of the best Pinots in its peer group in 2022. Already so good! Chaillot is much easier to drink young than the more concentrated and rich Reynard. 2020 Chaillot is gorgeous, perfumed and mineral with layered, vibrant fruit and liquid rock minerality. Beautiful wine and perfect with lamb ribs frites for lunch! — 6 months ago
Always some of my absolute favorite wines. 07 Reynard is in the most perfect place, perfumed, layered and searingly intense with dark fruit, campfire smoke, olive tapenade, violets and a liquid rock minerality. The palate is simply seamless and one of the most complete Allemand wines in recent memory, with incredible complexity, definition and a saturating texture. A top notch Reynard that’s just rocking right now. — a month ago
Nice cherry and watermelon notes. Light and refreshing — 5 months ago
Vintage 2022. Crisp, with some minerality. Love that it’s low sugar. Purchased at Trader Joe’s May 2024. — 6 months ago
One of the best village wines in the biz, and 2021 is already drinking beautifully, quite different than the richer 19 and 20’s, but soft, pure and seductively elegant with amazing transparency and detail, and a liquid velvet texture. Last sips were the best. Love these wines! — 2 months ago

2022 vintage opened in 2024. Should have been more patient, but it was delightful young. Apple, lemon, with light caramel. — a month ago
