Sequel Columbia Valley Syrah

Big, chewy, mouth coating Syrah, absolutely gigantic actually. Leathery, peppery, tannic and silty/coco powder notes dominate throughout, but a nice, ripe red raspberry note slips right through the middle and finishes so sweetly. Yum!!!

Deep dark full-bodied raspberry long-finishing yumminess.

Packed with dark fruit and plenty of alcohol. Currently is missing it's "syrahness" #syrah #longshadows #washington

Give Sequel some time and it will sing for you. This one was right in the zone - beautiful dark blue/black fruit, a little earth. Concentrated stuff.

Always love the wines that come out of this winery and this Syrah is no exception. Such a nice balance of pepper and dark fruit. Definitely filter this one, lots of sediment. Drinking very well right now.

Beautiful wine. Big bouquet, smooth on the palate. Paired well with beef.

Reminds me of other John Duvall wines not named Grange. It’s ok. Nothing I would seek out. Can’t say I’ve been impressed by the Long Shadows collection.
