2012, smooth velvety tannins and spice is nice. Paired with lamb and sweet potato stew with raisins and garbanzo beans.

Aroma of spice up front. A tart cranberries a few seconds on the tongue followed by a dryness and burst of dark fruit.

An extremely friendly Pinot Noir. The nose is constructed of spices, violets, and cranberries. On the palate, everything is kept in check, but in a way that leaves you wanting. The tannins do dry out your palate a touch, and sadly... the finish drops off almost completely. If only you could copy and paste the nose onto the finish.

Really got overpowered by the new world offerings, but stuck with me, due to its subtlety. Soft, smoky raspberry and mushroom on the lightest oak. A velveteen beef-blood droplet that has somehow saturated the other flavors. Mixed earth that dissipates to a whisper that etches.

Typical Pinot noir. Ain't nothing special but it gets the job done.

Intense notes of tart cranberry and cherry on opening. This gave way to some warm spice and a smooth palate. Enjoyable for the price.
