That steely burgundy Chardonnay. Not bad at all, but considering the price it just kind of makes me laugh. But I don’t care - Colin decided to go to Berkeley, and that settles that. Go Bears! Puts me a lot closer to Napa 😎

Blind Tasting - called this Sonoma Carneros Chardonnay 2015, and was SO close, but not close enough. Touch of oak and development, with ample fruit and med plus acid. Definitely see why it was Pouilly-Fuisse after revealing it, but it had such a new world presence about it. Great stuff and pick.

See prior notes. Still a pretty good chard; still fresh, sharp, and mellow. Paired with slightly spicy Kung Pao chicken and worked wonderfully. Happy Sunday.
