Rose, fairy dust, star anise, cinnamon, brown sugar, good stemmy, black olive, cracked black pepper BOOM.
Palate is juicy and bit astringent, high minus tannin, high alc, med+/high - acid. Long minus finish.
Tightly wound. Wants 3 years but OH MY. PS: volcanic soil *may* translate to fairy dust

Beautiful balance, amazingly not too extracted, excellent herbal tones, perfectly integrated medium tannins...great finish

Distinctive Mayacamus Mountain character but without the rough edges. Big, rich, dark and earthy. Tannins are in check and it finishes looonnngg.

Black raspberry, black cherry, and black currants are ripe/dried with some definite spice. This cab has a nice mineral quality that was unexpected...something like dusty rocks. Velvety tannins and a long finish.
