Deep purple in color with a reddish rim.

Dry on the palate and fruit forward, with a very pretty nose.

Showing black fruits, cedar, vanilla, licorice, spices, tobacco, chocolates and coffee.

Full bodied and soft with nice complexity and balance.

This is a gorgeous 15 year old Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley. Rich and elegant. Complex and nicely balanced. Fruit forward and interesting.

Good right out of the bottle and delicious by itself.

Robert Parker 91 points.

Will continue to drink nicely in the next 5 years.

I've had many different vintages of this Cabernet and it is always delicious with age.

A blend of 96% Cabernet Sauvignon and 4% Petit Verdot.

14.3% alcohol by volume.

93 points.

$200.

The 2009 M by Michael Mondavi offers a harmonious aromatic balance of rich dark fruit, stems of roses, and earthy forest floor. The juicy entry offers a round, silky mouthfeel with just enough acidity to complement the satin texture. This seductive wine shows flavors of black cassis, black cherry and a hint of cocoa powder. The fine-grained, plush tannins evolve into a long, supple finish. A supremely age-worthy wine, it will delight now and for many years to come.

Antonio only gave it a 91 back in the day. Needs an hour of air👍🏼 wouldn’t pay $180.00, but for $40.00 I bought a case.
Looks like a couple other wine makers/ owners have a little grudge against this wine/ winery which really brought the average score down, check out the other ratings for this vintage & you’ll see who I’m talking about.

Stood up very well without being cellared. Opened a 2009 at work to see if it went bad, it didn't! Can only imagine a properly stored bottle would blow it away, but it drank beautifully.

M by Michael Mondavi - outstanding wine. Smooth, yet amazingly complex. The quality is well worth the price tag on this bottle!

Just beautiful. Bright fruit, seamless tannin, and a glimpse of the earth it was raised in. With lovely, restrained character, and refreshing acidity- in a town of big fat plush Cabernets, this has finesse and class. Can't wait to see how it evolves!
