A delightful wine, perfect for winter sipping, and a real find from the north fork of Long Island. Concentrated dark fruit aromas with some graphite and rosemary, supple mouthfeel full of dark fruit and sweet spices, nice acidity and dusty tannins to make it old world in style. Long finish.

Jan 9th, 2018Very much in the character of a right bank Bordeaux. Nose secondary note dominated with cedar, eucalyptus, dried herbs, and pleasant green notes. But good plummy fruit as well, with some raspberry notes. Round and smoothe on the palate with more red cherry fruit and a hint of new oak coconut and vanilla, cbut very well integrated. Finishes lush with good structure and acidity. Still with a couple of years of development to go.
