Too much bottle variation with this wine. The 13 Lapierre may be too old at this point. I usually like to give it a few years in bottle. This mag is showing some earth, reduction and raspberry fruit. Not a lot going on. It’s ok. 6/21/20

As anticipated a perfect pairing for the turkey, etc, dinner this afternoon. Light on its feet but raspberry/strawberry, earth, with a nice floral note. Delivers as usual! Gobble gobble.
