While Lapierre’s 2016 Morgon doesn’t quite reach the heights of the 2015, it’s still ridiculously delicious. The wine pumps out a vivacious perfume of lavender pastille, ripe raspberry, and crushed rock, and does it with enough moxie (and balance) that’ll convince you it’s just the right brett influence. Everything translates through to the palate, and finishes with a salty, savory, juiciness that’s both punchy and mouthwatering. Sofa king good!

Initial nose of subtle rosy barn. Clean and bright fruit on the palate. And the subtle brett returns for the finish. Fruit Bookended by subtle brett... just the way I like it!

This cuvee 'n' has noticable Brett, but it opened up nicely. It's a really well put together wine. It has great acid, full and delicate texture and persistent aromas, despite a bit of obfuscation from the Brett. If there were any example of Brett that doesn't ruin a wine, this could be it.
