Aromas of sour cherry, dark plum, cedar, steeped black tea, and tobacco. Shows more earthy and mineral elements on the rich palate. Medium to full body. Bright acidity and rustic supply tannins. Solid Chianti Classical as one would expect from the house of Antinori.

Primarily Sangiovese (90%) blended with small parts of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Bright ruby red color with a bit of a dark core. Aromas of red berries, cherries, violets, basil, baking spices and lavender. Pallet is red cherry fruit driven along with hints of tobacco and graphite. Touch of mint or anise on the long and complex finish. Medium bodied with very fine tannins. Such outstanding texture and mouthfeel. Well integrated and fresh tasting. The slight addition of the Bordeaux varietals gives this wine some heft and lift. Thank You Keith S! Revisited in March 2023. Excellent! Revisited again in March 2025. Aging beautifully!
