Really nice, moderately intense nose. Dark macerated cherry, fragrant gravel, leather, a spice note. Appropriately lean and flavorful in the mouth. Good acids. A bit of tannin. Flavors have some cherry, but mostly on the savory side, with a slightly pine resiny note. Really nice accompaniment to chicken cacciatore.

Dried red cherry, some toasty oak as well, dry and balanced, solid tannic structure, medium-long finish, very nice Chianti!!

This Chianti has the most beautiful garnet red color that shimmers in the light. The bouquet reveals a variety of fragrances including cherry, raspberry, chocolate, pepper and shale. Rich and solid tannins, somewhat dry and yet well-balanced. Flavors of cherry, rosemary, white pine and French oak. A smooth medium finish that lingers just so!
