Great value. Kind of like a good Ribera del duero.

Enjoyed this! Notes of raisin give way to a softer plum. Slight sweetness but not too much. Nicely tannic. Can’t beat the price!

Superb. Equal born of Bobal and Tempranillo. Deep red, a bit smoky and earthy. Although aged in American Oak that had long since softened so it is a complex wine. Also great value.

Lovely color. Smells nice. Woodsy and a bit fresh. Flavors are juicy and interesting. Plenty of tannin. Floral rose petals and hips are here from the Bobal. Elegant. Fleshy. Plenty of chaparral and Mediterranean coastal herbs in there too.

Was a bit worried when I was pouring (it seemed light). The taste was quite good. Would definitely buy again.

Nose: plum, prune, raisin, a bit of vinegar, a bit of clay, cocoa. A little wood varnish. Some mushroom (very mild). Cherry.

Taste: not bad - light-medium weight - grilling spices of some kind (makes me think of savoury BBQ, can’t ID the spices), some bitter ash, some wood varnish. Ripe strawberry and balsamic vinegar emerge with air. 87-88. Solid deal for $6 @TJ’s. I will try this again.

Good body with lots of fruit and light tannins. Tasted better on night 2 but quite pleased with this great value from TJs. Never had Bobal before, but it pairs well with the Tempranillo.
