On the palate flavors of cherry and blackberry fruits with cacao, licorice, cinnamon and pepper spice. Fine approachable tannins, good balance, long finish ending with fruit, oak and spice. Very Nice. Consistent quality.

12/20/2023: picking up my wine journey again with my husband. We enjoyed this Herederos del Marques de Riscal with sharp cheddar cheese. Smells like oak and tastes like dark fruits.
