Red cherry, leather, and oak scents lead to black cherry, earth, tar, and smoky flavors. Well balanced with medium plus body and a medium plus, dusty finish. A very nice rioja.

This is a very tasty 5 years old Rioja. Showing black fruits with earth, cedar, spices, vanilla, licorice, green olives, peppercorn, dark coffee, black tea and dark chocolates.
Dry on the palate with medium plus acidity. Showing a great aromatic nose.
Nice tangy finish with round tannins and tangy pomegranates.
Good right out of the bottle and better after 90 minutes of airtime. Would benefit from another 5 years of bottle time.
Nicely balanced with a nice mouthfeel.
I paired it with a big piece of steak.
A blend of 85% Tempranillo and 15% Graciano. Aged for 24 months in oak barrels.
14.5% alcohol by volume.

Deep raspberries, a hint of pepper after. Nice, medium tannins, but not overly dry. Superb food wine, rich but not overpowering. Would pair with so many things.

Nose of raspberry, cherry cola, plum, steeped black tea, leather and light herbal spice. Taste of cedar and vanilla towards the end. Fresh acidity. A bit of heat on the finish.
