Post Flirtation White Marsanne blend

This has a Texsun Grapefruit juice quality to it.

I’d been jonesing to try the Martha Stoumen collection for a long time. I’ve read plenty on her background - her training under Occhipinti at Cos and I love her thoughtful articulation of California terroir, natural wine, and Sicilian grapes.

This is fun bright sunshine at a meager 10%. The smell of oysters mid slurp - briny ocean and minerals. Flavors of sour lemon drop.

Attentive and still easy.

Pronounced nose of grapefruit pith kiwifruit and sour peach that slides across the palate with an underlying ribbon of lime zestiness. Sunshine in a sundress type Glou Glou

Kinda funky, crisp, floral, slightly salty

Flowery on the nose and super mineral in the glass

Tastes like just ripe pineapple with some soil/mineral notes.

I thought I wasn’t a white wine lover. When I tasted this I realized I was wrong! It was so light and bright and zippy. Citrusy and a little salty but mostly just chuggable. I chugged too much of it on Sunday...

Like cracking open a fresh, tart rambutan on a foggy beach day.
