Smells lovely - finessed fruits
Classic Cali wine here - precise fruits, Cherry, raspberry, crab apple. Focused, with little (thankfully) of that new oak vanillin. Gripping tannins play well with the cran acidity. Lingers on for a loooong time.

Color of dark purple. Nose of nice black cherry, tobacco leaves, strength of alcohol, vanilla, and ripe grapes. Taste follows the nose with the addition of oak, refined tannins, a bit charcoal and hickory, just a bit tiny sweetness, and more ripe grapes. Aftertaste is clean with more oak and wood like cedar note. Clean, quite silky, packed with flavors, and enjoyable.

A fine Cabernet; dry, very smooth, balanced and just enough tannin to leave a pleasant texture on the tongue. A sophisticated richness making for a delicious sipping beverage.

Nose of nice dark fruits like black cherry, plum, and dark berry jam, vanilla, raisin, spice, hint of mineral, hint of strawberry, alcohol strength in the nasal cavity, and a bit tobacco leaf. Taste of dark berry jam, a bit sweet, soft tannins, raisin, a bit zesty, just a bit watery, ripe grape, hint of cocoa and hint of black pepper. Aftertaste is a bit short, and shows some more ripe grape and soft tannins.
