Visiting family in London who opened this for us. Decanted 2 hours. Really elegant wine and quite unlike the majority of Sangiovese I've had. This had some very bright fruit that was shining through, vanilla, earthiness as well as medium-light body. This is a delayed post so can't remember all the details other than those and that I really liked it!

The nose showed depths of tart cherry and raspberry fruit, along with a twist of spiced orange, savory herbs, and floral undergrowth. On the palate it was dark and inward with almost savory red fruits giving way to mountain herbs, smoke and minerals, as fine tannin saturated the senses more and more with each sip. It finished stern with sappy red berry, espresso bean, olive and herbal tones lasting long. Only time will tell, but with how intense and deep this wine is today, it may one day warrant a much higher score.

Enjoyed this more than the first Brunello but it also needed time and air.

Тост, сухари, немного красных ягод, вкус более ягодный, минеральный, хороший потенциал. Чуть алкогольно. 16/20 (90/100)

Fruit forward brunello, opens to approachable in 30 min, just sings at 90-120min. Melted strawberry licorice, thyme, nutmeg, and a classic tomato paste for the region. Bravo!

So far so excellent for every 2010 Brunello we’ve had the pleasure of drinking.

This will last further but is drinking stupendously right now. Dark ruby color, beautiful nose, rich round flavor followed by a long finish. Can’t go wrong with this one!

Met my expectations for a 2010 brunello, Dry, dark cherry. Not fruity. Drank very well with short rib tagliatelle and pork tenderloin.
