If you’re looking for a quality table wine, look no further than the ‘18 Blackboard. Matthews has an excellent portfolio of wines, so much so that even their table wines are excellent. The aroma of the wine in its resting state surprisingly mellows as you swirl. Upon tasting I pick up on peppercorns and dark red fruits with persistent tannins. Pairing it with food will help to balance out the tannins. Great bottle!
