This is the 2014 Mt Maude Vineyard Chardonnay. Lovely lemon, white pepper, and delicate florals on the nose. Palate shows bright acidity and a rounded texture from malolactic. This wine is beautiful now, but I expect it to be much better in a couple of years. The winemaker says that the wine has only been in bottle for ten days, and that it's a bit shut down. This wine is intense with a powerful mid palate and very long finish. Excellent. Wish it was available in the US.
