Exactly what a zin should be. Opens with graphite and spice with melancholy carrot and semi-weak cedar. Drink now through September equinox.

A Zin from the slopes with grippy tannins, some acidity, and loads of fruit. Balanced and pairing well with chili.

I can drink this wine with any meal. Stands up to $100+ bottles. Love it. Enjoy while it's around!

The nose has a solid cedar oak structure. Full berry fruit flavors of blackberry, boysenberry, and plum without the overbearing sweetness that follows these flavors. The spice flavor hits early yet evens out and lingers through the finish. The cedar oak is noticeable, yet in the background limiting its overshadowing of other flavors. The greatest part of this wine is the excellent balance shown by a very smooth feel throughout. Many Zins suffer from too sweet of fruit, or ending up too full. This wine finds the right balance making it very approachable while equally showing berry and spice. This one is well worth the extra few dollars.
