Interesting nose featuring... wait for it... pink grapefruit! Also some tart cherry and crushed rock. Clean and peppery in the mouth. Unique and very like able (and affordable)!

Very food friendly...although I could do without the cow manure references on the label describing why it is organic.

La vache, das ist gut ! Meinklang, zweigelt 2013. Un beau vin mur, gourmand, plein de fruit rouge, de prairies autrichiennes, de beauté locales à forte poitrines, de... Bref, c'est bon.

Bright sour cherries and a bit of earthy funk, which recedes a bit as it opens up to black licorice and fennel. Light to medium body but with noticeable tannins that make it feel substantial.
