On the nose I get cherry, raspberries, cranberry, clove, all spice, orange peel and forest floor.
On the palate there is tart cherry, strawberry, raspberry, clove, hibiscus, vanilla, allspice and earth.

Very creamy oak, green vegetable notes, but more like fresh cut (smokey) flower stems, interesting but not my style.

Good village-level Pinot - forward, ripe, red fruit with an appealingly tart edge, and some smoky complexity.

Drink this a quaffing daily wine and still just love it! Not a better value produced making terroir driven family winemaker in the region. Melville is a steal in the wine world !

Beautiful balance. Fruit forward notes of cranberry and black cherry zing are complimented with umami, raspberry and stewed strawberry characteristic. A kiss of spicy oak and the 14% alc. make this a great choice for filet mignon or standard BBQ fare.

I love Melville. Terrific wines and a great value across the board. Sadly this is my last one. On the sweeter side, but not extracted and well-balanced. Lots of cherry cola, cinnamon and floral notes. I keep saying Iām going to get on their mailing list. I just need to suck it up and do it.
