PnP. Lovely dark red color. Stewed, candied fruit on the nose with some oak/vanilla. Wouldn’t guess Napa Cab based on the nose, probably something from Italy like Amarone or something from Rhone. Similar on the palate yet reserved, but decent amount of sweetness. Fades pretty quick, but very unique and a great price point!

Mar 29th, 2024Definitely young and needs multiple hours of air. Modest nose. Cherry, chocolate, and a decent amount of Oak on the palate. Alcohol was noticeable but died off with time. Medium finish. Solid Napa Cab for the price!

Apr 7th, 2018Nice, full nose. Thick on the palate, with big plum, prune, and black cherry. Definitely needs close to an hour decant. Solid wine, but nothing that stands out.

Mar 10th, 2018Great nose, great texture on the palate, and great value! Merriam continues to impress. Thanks to Steven G for introducing me to this. A little high in OH, but more Bordeaux like than 100% cab. The wife and I don't see eye to eye on this guy, but I like it!
