This is a fully mature Brunello that should be enjoyed now as it will begin to fade soon. Its fruit is ripe and forward with plenty of structure still apparent… with dark cherry on the nose and pronounced on the palate. It is very soft on the finish with hints of licorice and smoke. A really good brunello… but not for long.

Enjoyed with seared tuna topped with roasted tomatoes and capers…Excellent!

Powerful and intense. A wonderful Brunello from a talented vineyard and a great vintage. Fruit and tobacco with great spice. Ready to drink and should hold for a couple more years.
