Very intense and unrelenting structure. Acidity and tannins are still a bit younger than the fruit, which is sweet and pure despite showing some oxidation. Bright cranberries, leather, plum, mint and blood orange. Seriously intense, rustic wine that feels a tad disjointed right now but if stored properly will continue to evolve. Pairing with a hardy veal or braised beef dish would probably flatter this youthful and masculine beast.

Beautifully evolvement, but still tight on the finish. Soaring aromatics, tilting towards dark fruit and hints of bitter chocolate. Needs another few years to fully blossom.

Quite tannic - even after a couple hour decant, could easily use many more years. But this is clearly destined to be very good. Deep dark earth and tar and all that deliciousness. Great with roast chicken in Piedmont.
