Very elegant. Earthy; tar with a bit of a barnyard feel. Great balance of tannins with an acidic mouth watering finish. Last note is ripe red fruit. Really beautiful.

I had high expectations for Bric Balin from all I had read about it, but wound up a little disappointed. It's a regular Barbaresco but has a funny Sharpie fume on the finish.

Rated by Lorna a 6/10 and by Henry as an 8/10. Lots of black cherry and extremely flavorful in new ways. Too expensive at $20 for a half bottle.
