Impressive for its understated nose of cassis and espresso. On the palete, it has a lovely mouthfeel, which is plush and layered. Sweet tannins present, complemented with luscious black fruits. Those convicts got the memo - this is excellent! $23 of exceptional value. Beat that!!!

If you like fruity, high alcohol, jam like wines this is your thing. It tastes like a blueberry pie and a coconut cream pie had a baby. I'd be lying if I said I didn't like it. Appealed to the hedonist in me

A whopping 16.5% abv. The ripe fruit here hid it well. A lot of blueberries, blackberries and vanilla. Friends of ours loved it. For me it was too much blueberry liqueur.

Slightly over extracted and deeply concentrated, not something I usually enjoy much, but this is different. Aroma of black and blue fruits, dark chocolate, espresso that carry through the palate. Big and powerful in a velvet glove - wait, MollyDooker does have a bottle called Velvet Glove! The 16.5% abv was not noticeable. Immensely enjoyable.

Dark purple in color. Dark chocolate, coffee bean, blackberry, and vanilla on the nose. Very full bodied with intense flavors of ripe, dark fruit on the palate. Despite 16.5% alcohol, somehow it all comes together. $28.
