Had chilled and was pretty refreshing. Showed similar to a natural Rhone such as Dard Ribo and lots of juicy crunchy blackberry and acid. Fun bottle.

Jul 13th, 2020Don’t sleep on this wine! Actually, open it then sleep on it, then sleep on it again. After 2 nights in the fridge this wine really settled down (very acidic at first) into a really nice dark rich smooth grilling pair.

Different and exciting, big and bold. Bottle closure allowed leakage and some oxidation, though I did appreciate the “jug wine” theme, Would like to try again with better closure. Happy to stain any and everything it comes in contact with, Rubired is used to create the additive “Mega Purple”

Blackberry with black pepper. Light on the tannin. Lovely with slowly simmered brisket in bone broth. Winter without ice and wet wool. Accessible. Light enough to carry into a chilly spring day- bulbs pushing through snow. Quaffing. A work night wine.

Dark, teeth-staining purple, but surprisingly much lighter on the palate. Bright acidity and crunchy fruit. Glou glou. Love the jug, too
