Classic Series Colchagua Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
This is a nice Cabernet Sauvignon from Chile. I've had this vintage before, and it is drinking much nicer now, as a 4 year old.
Showing black fruits with oak, vanilla, licorice, spices, chocolates, tobacco, vegetables, earth and peppercorn.
Dry on the palate and fruit forward. Round with mild complexity.
Easy drinking with a nice mouthfeel.
Good right out of the bottle and gets earthier as it opens up (1 hour).
A good everyday wine. good by itself or with food.
Aged in French oak barrels for 6 months.
14.5% alcohol by volume.
88 points.

Very flavorful but too "boozy" for our taste.

Jan 10th, 2022This wine is always consistent and offers a great QPR. Lots of pleasing vegetal notes (bell pepper and tomato foliage) and white pepper with the structure and tannin to balance. At this price point it never disappoints.
