Had in Santiago at a steakhouse. Good complement to steak. Great deal for the money ($30 in restaurant there)

Retained a huge amount of fresh blackberry and black cherry notes across the nose and palate. Tannins are chewy still, but they are leaning towards fine-grained. A nice green coffee bean note displays on the mid-palate and starts to be prevalent on the nose. Finish blows up with chocolate and pipe tobacco while the fresh dark fruit notes explode. I’d say 7 years has taken this towards that plush zone; smack dab in the middle. Drink up!

Rich flavour with a smooth aftertaste. A nice cranberry flavour and a good food table wine. Nice well rounded wine, not too tart. Good on its own or with food.

Purple color with a nose of burnt rubber, cherries, and pepper. A fairly dry wine with a medium body, medium tannin, and a shorter finish.

Plummy. Syrupy. No secondary flavors. Usually some great value here; this is incredibly disappointing. Possible bad bottle.
