I get a ripe pineapple aroma upfront with a subtle guava note. First sip I get the barrel’s oak/vanilla but it quickly dissipates and turns into a lemon candy flavor. It finishes with a tart pineapple acid. The age really helped this bottle. It’s got slow, long legs and I can feel the heat build up for a good 30 seconds after a sip.
