Bought this at the winery in Napa and saved over the years for a special occasion. Opened last night with my cookbook team celebrating the release of the book. I really enjoyed this bottle. I don't like the typical all chardonnay champagnes - this one was a nice softer wine.

Crisp with nice pop. Slightly sweeter than I prefer, but it's been in our fridge long enough. This wine is a gift from my parents Mumm membership.

No rating can possibly capture the raw, exotic, spicy, electricity that is Santana Sparkling. I would like to have a party where the only liquid being served is Santana- No Santana? You can't get in. You know people will be taking their clothes off. Someone will have a tiger on a leash. Crystal skulls and lots of scarves. Everybody will be sweating. Let's do this. Please. Calistoga 2013.

Thanksgiving 2014 - had it with desert after a great meal. I meant to open the cheap Prosecco I had in the fridge, & somehow picked this instead! With chocolate pie & pumpkin pie the citrus notes came thru with a beautiful counterpoint to the sweetness of the desert, while the vanilla added a smooth finish.

On the nose, there were limes, red delicious apples, and hints of hazelnuts and honeysuckle. In the mouth, there are limes, apples, honeysuckle with salt, cream, and vanilla on the finish.
