First of the two single vineyard bottlings at Classic Wines of Great Falls. Deep purplish ruby red. Layered nose with slate, dark raspberries, and dark cocoa. Moderate tannins (7/10) and full bodied. Stoney backbone with balanced acidity. Dark palate with spices, as well as baking spices and dark red berries. Lingering finish. This is a baby that needs some time to develop. Drink till 2029. (91+)

More punchy up front than most other N&N. Bit less structured as well. Give it some time to decant. Big cherry. Not one of my favorite N&N.
