Medium ruby intensity with light edges.
The nose is more elegant and ethereal, with rose, and lifted bright red fruit aromatics of cherry and pomegranate, and a line of fresh minerality and terroir. Dirk's ode to Red Burgundy. The intensity on the palate is more elegant, but more precise than Batuta showing more transparency and definition. This is a field blend from 70-100+ year old vine north facing vineyards in Pinhao at Vale de Mendiz.

Some bourbon and oak on nose. Very aromatic, elegant and conplex on nose (which grows and expands lots with aeration). High in acidity but not with too harsh tannins. It’s quite delicate in fact.
Has a port wine character in aromas with a rich spiciness, pepper, rum, raisins, licorice. Fruit reminds of a cabernet sauvignon with lots of blackcurrants. Very salivating and fresh.!

Väldigt elegant field blend på 70 till 100-åriga stockar. Fina jordiga och gröna toner. Rosor, lakrits, söt tobak, apelsinskal, sura bigarråer, viol. Finkornig och avslutar med väldigt hög fräschör.

Beautiful expression of wine. Light, smooth, a muted nose to some extent. Great finish.
