Sommelier & Beverage Director The Barrymore Las Vegas

The Cabernet Franc is minimal in the blend but by far a super star. Chocolate covered cherries and canned cranberry sauce are dominant. Tannins are in balance and it probably was not liked by RP.

This is a nice red for drinking. You can definitely pair it with food and alter the flavor profile a bit that way. If you had spicy foods you would get a stronger hint of the peppery finish & anything sweet would accentuate the berry flavor. I personally have never found a red with pepper on the palate which I liked and this one is fantastic! It's a bit dry on the finish but only mild. I'm a rich and heavy bold red drinker so this is dry to me but to anyone who loves a dry red this would likely not stand out as dry. Recommend this for a relaxing night at home!
