No Limit Wines
All In Syrah
Still retaining good red fruit character and acidity. Lots of great tertiary flavors like wood, leather, soil and tobacco.
After a few hours it has opened up and become soft and silky with dark fruits like plums and blackberries. Tertiary flavors still present, really lovely drinking experience.

No Limit Syrah - next to an older Guigal La Mouline. For a third of the price, this was much more of the bargain. Fruit, density, complexity and structure to boot. Would love to see this in 10 or 15 years, if I can hold out that long.

Jun 2nd, 2013With Wollensky's deep California list, we went with a more wintery Syrah for the cold evening. Fragrant nose that was surprisingly like an old world Syrah. Flavor profile was more fruit forward, as you would expect from California. With some age (2009 vintage) it has mellowed a fair bit but could do with some more.
