1994 opus one saved for my daughters birth year with friend karina born 12 hrs later and mom my dear friend Sybille. A tremendous wine of cherry fruit, vanilla oak minerals and layers of spice. Also a great vintage for daughters!!

Fully mature, lots of red berries and cedar.

Havemt tasted Opus in a long time. I must say I was remarkably pleased with how well this has aged. #christmaswine

Nice but I still think Opus is overrated

One of the best opus wines I have opened.look for this one to go the distance.

1994 opus celebrating daughters birth year with her childhood friends. This is what great wine cellaring is for. Minerals clay black olive and soft cherry. Beautiful hues with plenty of time still to age. Maybe we'll save the other bottle for their 30th!!

A beautiful, lush, complex Opus 1994 with plenty of earth, tar, oak and finesse. Deep and dark, with room to improve 5-10 years.

What is there not to like? Classic napa valley that tastes like a first growth. 94 still drinking great.

Remnants of the allocations from my mom and sister who worked for Mondavi in the 80s and 90s. Lucky for me they don't drink!
