A superb wine once opening up. So many layers of flavors showed up about an hour after of being exposed to air. Inky dark purple color with big dark fruit, smoke, cocoa and pepper notes. Love Washington Syrah

Had with some of Beechers homemade extra aged (4yr) cheese on NYE. Good balance to the wine. Dark berries with a slightly smoky finish. BIT of olive as well. Wish I could carry some of this back on with me.

Dark almost black wild berries, light tannins, very dry fruit, but a reasonably lengthy finish.
