Very interesting style of Cab Franc. Robust and fill of dark fruited notes though still balanced, perhaps due to age. — 7 months ago
Red and black fruit mingle with turned earth and spice box characters. Lush while still playing lightly across the palate. Layers of ripeness are holding up on this 6 year PN. Velvet tannins and vibrant acid frame the wine from start to finish. A great representation of the 2015 vintage. — 5 years ago
Slight aroma of new rubber bands. Taste of key limes and canned honey peaches. Medium finish. Really interesting. — 7 years ago
2014 vintage.
Had this for the first time at the winery in Yakima late last year and was blown away by the freshness and quality of fruit. Lemon verbena and tropical fruit and petrol jump out of the glass and onto your palate. Dry, but with a midpalate roundness that makes it more interesting the more you drink it.
Also, the label looks like the Tower of Joy from "Game of Thrones". — 8 years ago
Delightful Syrah. Very fruit forward on the nose. The taste is nicely balanced, the fruit giving way to an unctuous flavor blend, pepper, leather, and bits of olive. The finish could be a bit longer. — 9 years ago

2011 vintage and 100 % Okanagan Cabernet Franc.
Deep ruby red; impressive colour after 12 years.
Dried sweet raspberries, tobacco, sage .
and celery root on the nose.
Older dark fruit, tea, leather and garrigue. Tannins are smooth and acidity is still present and working well.
Owen Knowlton won Sommelier of the year in 2011 in British Columbia and was awarded the opportunity to make a wine with Okanagan Crush Pad…his choosing. 3 barrels…or 75 cases were made. Owen is a good friend and gifted me one of his last remaining bottles. — 3 years ago
Fruity start, a little green pepper on finish — 5 years ago
Peaches, peach blossoms and minerals on the nose, good amount of acid but a round body, sweet peaches and floral palate as well. Very drinkable summer wine. From Washington wine class🍷 — 7 years ago

I love the dusty rose note I get from Owen Roe Syrah in the aromas and on the palate. I also get cocoa, sweet spices, and blackberry aromas. The texture is lovely. I'd like to hold onto this for a few more years, but it is juicy and tempting now! — 9 years ago
A wonderful Cabernet from one of the best vineyards in Washington. After 21 years, it is still drinking quite deliciously. I would even speculate it has a few more years in it. It was a pleasure to drink. — 6 months ago
Of all the comrades that e'er I had
They're sorry for my going away
And all the sweethearts that e'er I had
They'd wish me one more day to stay
But since it fell into my lot
That I should go and you should not
I'll gently rise and softly call
Good night and joy be to you all
Fill to me the parting glass
And drink a health whate'er befalls
Then gently rise and softly call
Good night and joy be to you all
Week, months, years will pass. But I will miss you every single day 💙 — 4 years ago
Never been much for Malbec, but this one is special! Great blend of fruit and spice notes. Love the art and passion that goes into this wine. — 6 years ago
Tuesday night Merlot from Corvidae, a second label from Owen Roe with an all time great album. This is a weeknight/spaghetti & meatballs wine, and trust me that’s a very good thing. Not too complicated, but awfully fresh & tasty. The record needs no words. Pretty much every song could have been a hit. Everything good here. — 7 years ago

Purchased this 2008 Owen Roe Syrah about 7 years ago from Atlantic Wine, a sort of innocuous wine merchant in North Buckhead Atlanta. I do remember it shared a building with an upscale outdoors outfitter (Yeti, Patagonia, North Face, etc...) along with a large Goodwill Store/Donation Center. I always kick myself for not going in that Goodwill, and imagine it was an treasure trove of never used luxury camping gear. Instead, I opted for whatever mix of First Growth Bordeaux was in stock at Atlantic, which inevitably left me a bottle short of a 10% discount, thus resulting in this purchase, and later to be stashed away in the back and bottom of the cellar. I had completely forgot about this ghost bottle until tonight. Despite the wax seal, I still was slightly concerned that it might be past its prime, so I pulled the cork... An exotic, but pure cacao that’s pleasantly unforgiving, and cautiously allows in some lush blueberry compote, along with finocchiona rolled in fresh cracked pepper with thyme, tarragon, and lavender. Could certainly last another 5-7 years, but it’s too stunningly beautiful now to resist. — 9 years ago
