First off Registry’s wine list is fairly broad and value priced. This wine has a deep inky red color visually appealing. A little understated on the nose just red wine and alcohol.
Wait staff has a quick chiller that helped subdue the alcohol. After 15 minutes in the glass and some gentle swirling, nice black fruit emerged. Not too jammy but ripe. Would order again.

Love Cab Franc but it mostly gets dumped into blends. This is a solid choice but less interesting than some of my favorites.

Really good after decanting and paired with prime rib. Very oaky and lots of vanilla. Hints of plumb. Did. It like it immediately after opening.
