Very unusual. Their wet-toasted barrel method leaves this a pale lemon color, and though it is full malo, the timing and temperature allows for no diacetyl byproduct. Intriguing.

Not your typical Chardonnay but a delicious and refreshing change. Great acidity and a longer finish with a medium body. Delicious lemon pie on the palate with a creamy zest on the nose.

Nose was uninteresting and subdued; slightly briny. The wine is amazing and complex. The toasted oak from the barrel gives it a nuanced flavor and a subtle butteriness sticks to the tongue for a nice long finish.
