Spring Mountain District Chardonnay 2017

Typical Napa chard that’s ripe and delicious. But it’s dwarfed by the Palmaz and lacks the character of ABC’s Nuits-Blanches au Bouge.
I much prefers the Riesling from the winery.

Crisp with a buttery finish. It's not Jarvis but I would rank it with Palmaz. — 7 years ago

Gaston Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2020

Big all-around smooth tannins, good balance, licorice, fennel (flavor), ripe plum, black fruit, dark chocolate. Powerful. Long finish. Really enjoyed much more second day and in 65-68 temp. — a month ago

Tasted the ‘09 about 2 years ago and thought it was at its peak. This 2nd and last bottle still holds up really well. Yes it’s ripe and creamy but impeccably balance with round yet vivid acidity. Elegant.
I don’t drink Meursault often, but Meursault is what I would call if taste blind.
