Full-bodied with medium acidity and long legs.
Dry and fruit forward on the palate with black currants, cooked plums, cedar, peppercorn, earth, herbs, chocolates, tobacco leaf and black tea.
Long finish with fine grained tannins and cherries.
This is a delicious Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley. Elegant and rich. Complex and entertaining. Fruit forward and easy drinking.
This 13 year old Cabernet Sauvignon from the great 2012 vintage, is drinking beautifully now, and will continue to age nicely in the next 10 years.
A good quality wine, with nice complexity and mouthfeel. Well balanced and elegant.
I've enjoyed many different vintages of this wine over the years, from older to younger, and it never fails to deliver.
Good by itself as a sipping wine, and will also pair nicely with a big piece of steak.
A blend of 86% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Petit Verdot, 4% Cabernet Franc and 1% Merlot. Aged in ( 75% new) French Oak barrels.

This 18 year old Cabernet Sauvignon from Rutherford is drinking wonderfully now. Delicious and entertaining. Complex and well balanced.
I had this vintage 2 years ago, and it is drinking better now. Drinking at its peak, and will continue to drink nicely in the next few years.
Good right out of the bottle, and better after 2 hours in the decanter.
Good by itself as a sipping wine, and would also pair nicely with a big piece of steak.

Medium plus in body with medium plus acidity. Crisp and refreshing.

Nice finish with grapefruits and limes.
What a nice surprise. This white blend from Washington State is tasty, tangy and nicely balanced. drinking very nicely right out of the bottle.
Fruit forward, easy drinking, and feels like a new world Sauvignon Blanc with a twist of honey notes. So interesting and fun to drink.
A great sipping wine for the beach or pool.
A blend of 55% Pinot Gris and 45% Viognier.

This is a delicious GSM blend from Paso Robles. Spicy, juicy and interesting. Elegant and rich.
Good right out of the bottle, and better after 30 minutes of airtime.
Feels like a New World red, with a twist of Southern Rhone. Interesting stuff. Fruit forward and complex
Will continue to get a better with age. Would be nice to revisit it in 3 to 5 years.
Easy drinking and good by itself or with food.
A blend of 75% Grenache, 18% Mourvedre and 7% Syrah. Aged in (40% new) Slovenian Oak barrels for 18 months. Unfined and unfiltered.

This young Cabernet Sauvignon from Paso Robles is starting to drink nicely. Fruit forward with nice complexity.
The alcohol is still noticeable, but will get more integrated with more time in the bottle. Spicy and entertaining with good structure.
Good right out of the bottle, and much better after 2 hours in the decanter.
Still young, and needs a couple of years in the bottle to mature properly. Will continue to age nicely over the next 5 to 7 years.
Nicely balanced and good by itself as a sipping wine.
A blend of 90% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Petite Sirah and 5% Merlot. Aged for 15 months in (35% new) French oak barrels.

This 6 year old Zinfandel based Red blend from Sonoma County is drinking at its peak, and will continue to drink nicely in the next few years.
Elegant and fruit forward. Nicely balanced and soft with a nice mouthfeel. Showing nice complexity at this point.

This 7 year old feels young, and needs a few years in the bottle to mature properly. However, it is already drinking beautifully.
Complex, tangy and interesting. Feels like a Napa Cabernet Sauvignon.
Needs 2 hours of airtime to open up properly.
A great sipping wine that will also pair nicely with food.

This is a delicious 9 year old Merlot from Columbia Valley. Rich and extracted. Spicy and entertaining.
Peaking now and will continue to drink nicely in the next 5 years.

Nicely balanced with a soft mouthfeel. Smooth and elegant. Fruit forward and tangy. The high alcohol is well integrated by now.

This 7 year old Cabernet Sauvignon based Bordeaux blend from Paso Robles feels very fresh and young. Soft and elegant. Nicely balanced with nice complexity and mouthfeel.
I had this vintage 3 years ago and it is drinking much better now. Peaking now, and good after 15 minutes of airtime.
Easy drinking and good by itself or with food. Love to see such low alcohol reds from California.

Medium plus in length on the finish, with honey notes and herbs.
This is a very tasty sweet wine from Bergerac. Showing nice complexity and good balance.
This 42 year old is feels surprisingly fresh. Well balanced and not very fruit forward, but showing some earth notes.
I had this vintage before and this bottle seems a little better.
Good by itself as a dessert wine, albeit not too sweet. It's always nice to try these kind of aged wines.
