Ruby in color with a reddish rim.

Beautiful nose of black currants, black plums, cooked cherries, light oak, chocolates, black pepper, light earth, tobacco leaf, light vegetables, herbs, eucalyptus and black tea.

Medium plus in body with medium acidity.

Dry on the palate with black plums, cooked cherries, currants, light wood, coffee, dark chocolates, tobacco leaf, black tea, pencil lead, earth, herbs, mediterranean spices and peppercorn.

Tangy finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.

This 17 year old Merlot blend is still showing enough fruits to balance the earth notes.

What a nice surprise. I enjoyed it more than I expected. Nicely balanced and elegant. Complex and interesting.

Easy drinking and good by itself or with food. A good sipping wine.

A blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon.

Dark ruby/ inky in color with a reddish rim.

Nose of black currants, plums, cooked cherries, oak, licorice, tobacco, light earth, herbs, spices and light aluminum.

Medium plus in body with medium acidity.

Dry on the palate with black plums, cooked cherries, currants, light wood, coffee, black tea, herbs, peppercorn, light earth and spices.

Nice finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.

This Merlot from Lalande de Pomerol in Bordeaux is spicy and entertaining. Nicely balanced and complex.

Drinking very nicely now, as a 6 year old, and will continue to age nicely in the next 5 years.

Needs an hour in the decanter to open up, but showing a pretty nose right out of the bottle.

Good by itself as a sipping wine or with food. Kosher and not Mevushal.

Very pretty color of ruby with a wide reddish rim.

Fruity nose of black currants, cooked plums, light cedar, licorice, light vanilla, tobacco, chocolates and light black pepper.

Full-bodied with medium acidity and long legs.

Dry and fruit forward on the palate with black currants, black plums, cherries, spices, chocolates, tobacco, herbs and light earth.

Long finish with fine grained tannins and cherries.

This is a delicious Merlot from Saint Emilion. Soft and elegant. Well balanced and rich. Spicy, and showing nice finesse.

This 8 year old will continue to age nicely in the next 7 to 10 years. Has good potential to become a 94+ point wine.

Fruit forward with nice complexity and a soft mouthfeel. A Merlot for the Cabernet Sauvignon lover.

A great sipping wine, that will also pair nicely with food.

A blend of 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc. Aged in (50% new) French Oak barrels for 18 months.

Dry on the palate with sweet raspberries, cherries, red currants, coffee, earth, light wood, spices, dark chocolates, tobacco leaf, light black pepper, herbs and black tea.

Long finish with round tannins and tangy cherries.

This 8 year old Merlot from Pomerol is drinking beautifully now, and will continue to age nicely in the next 10 years. Elegant and fruity. Complex and entertaining.

Delicious right out of the bottle, and better with airtime. A great sipping wine, that will pair nicely with food too.

A blend of 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc. Aged for 22 months in all new French oak barrels.

Dark inky in color with a short purplish rim.

Fruity nose and full-bodied with medium acidity and long legs.

Dry on the palate and very fruity.

Showing black currants, plums, cooked cherries, dried figs, cedar, vanilla, cooked raisins, chocolates, light earth, herbs, spices, dark coffee, peppercorn and licorice.

Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy cherries.

This is a delicious Merlot from Napa Valley. Fruit forward and extracted. Rich, and in your face kind of wine.

Still young, and needs 7 years in the bottle to mature properly. Will continue to age nicely in the next 15 years.

This 8-year-old is nicely balanced and dense, with enough acidity for the fruits. Complex with a nice mouthfeel. Big, bold and beautiful, with a teeth staining color. Not a good choice for a first date.

Wine Advocate 94 points.

The blend varies with each vintage. I've had the 2014 vintage a year ago, and loved it even more.

A great sipping wine that will also pair nicely with food.

A blend of 75% Merlot and 25% Cabernet Sauvignon.

Dry on the palate with black currants, plums, cooked cherries, spices, cedar, chocolates, licorice and dark coffee.

Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy cherries.

This 15 year old Merlot from Cotes de Bourg is drinking beautifully now. Elegant and rich. Complex, powerful and interesting.

Balanced and complex with a soft mouthfeel. Will continue to age nicely in the next 5 to 7 years.

I've had younger vintages and it is very consistent. Delicious by itself as a sipping wine.

A blend of mostly Merlot with Cabernet Franc. Aged in French oak barrels.

14% alcohol by volume.

Nice finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.

This is a very tasty Merlot from Pomerol. Complex and interesting. Spicy, elegant and fruit forward.

Drinking very nicely now, and will continue to age nicely in the next 7 years. I had the 2016 vintage last year and it was even better. Would be nice to revisit it in a few years.

Nicely balanced and easy drinking. Good by itself or with food.

A blend of 80% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Cabernet Franc. Aged for 12 months in (50% new) French oak barrels.

This is a delicious Merlot based blend from Bordeaux. Rich and extracted. Nicely balanced and complex.

This 16 year old is starting to drink at its peak now, and will continue to age nicely in the next 10 years.

Wine Advocate 96 points. Wine Spectator 96 points.

I've had the 2012 a few years ago, but this 2010 vintage is showing so much better.

Needs a couple of hours to open up properly, so be patient.

Good by itself as a sipping wine, or with food.

A blend of 55% Merlot, 35% Cabernet Franc and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. Aged for 17 months in French Oak barrels. Unfiltered and unfined.

14.5% alcohol by volume.

This is a delicious Merlot from Pomerol. Well balanced and complex. Tangy and tasty.

Rich and elegant, with enough fruits to compliment the earth notes. Spicy and entertaining.

This 18 year old is drinking at its peak now, and will continue to drink nicely in the next few years.

I've had a few vintages of this wine, and it is much better with age.

A good sipping wine that will also pair nicely with food.

A blend of 80% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Cabernet Franc. Aged for 12 months in (50% new) French oak barrels.

Long finish with medium tannins and tangy cherries.

This is a young Bordeaux blend from Yountville in Napa Valley. Rich and extracted. Dense and fruit forward. Chewy and interesting.

This Single Vineyard is very dry right out of the bottle, and better after 90 minutes of airtime. Nicely balanced and complex.

Will continue to age nicely in the next 10 to 15 years.

Good by itself or with food.

A blend of 51% Merlot, 47% Cabernet Sauvignon and 2% Malbec.
