This is splendid. Really just enjoyed drinking this. Don't want to be too analytical. I have more and will post detailed notes later. Meanwhile, black cherry, earth/soil, toasted almond, vanilla, with a little hot alcohol still dominating the nose. Medium minus acidity on the palate, high alcohol, firm, still puckering tannins. This will likely improve. Very very good.
