Reddish tawny. Soft and delicate nose. Notes of black cherry, anise, cranberry, red rose petals and some plank floor. Smooth in the mouth. Fruit and tannins melt together. Not overly Barolo like but very tasty nonetheless. Still primary.

Dull reddish tawny color. Exciting nose. Notes of ripe cherries, rose petals, flowers, some earth and a touch of anise. Rich and round in the mouth. Luscious fruit coats what it touches. Very balanced with tannins nicely integrated. Nice showing tonight.

From magnum. Plenty of youth left in this one, but totally enjoyable today. Just barely beginning to evolve, with classic dark fruit, licorice and refreshing acidity. Tannins are beginning to soften up. Wish I had more.

Dug a little little deeper last night at the end of a brutal week. Even after 20 yrs this needed every drop of air we gave it and could have used more. Classic Nebbiolo notes here and some leather and cigar and earth. Still going strong.

This was drinking well tonight that was still youthful & needed some air to open to shed some of its tannin structure at 20 yrs of age showing notes of dark fruits, red berry, earth, leather, licorice, balsamic spices & tobacco leaf.
