We received this in a gift hamper for Christmas - as you can tell, it didn't last long! It came in a BBQ themed hamper so naturally we teamed it up with some tasty grilled meat on the barbie.
On the eye it's a deep scarlet with blackberries, bark and plum on the nose. In the mouth it has fine tannins, is fruit forward and has an excessively and pleasing long finish.

Surprise wine of the weekend. Well priced and very reliable. Distinctive Coonawarra eucalyptus and menthol notes. A little brighter red fruited spectrum shows on the nose through red cherries. Blackcurrant and fresh plum are present along with a feint savoury and gamey note. A little bit of vanilla and sweet oak noticeable too
