Pascal Clément
Bourgogne Chardonnay

Seeming a bit riper than the last bottle with both lemon, Meyer and tangerine/orange zest in the nose, moving darker as it warmed. Some browned butter, toasted grain, popcorn elements in the empty glass. High acid, medium bodied, dry, medium bodied. Pleasant with crudites and hummus.

As Tom Cassagrande said, spot on Burgundy white. Lemon oil, wet stone, slightly closed/reduced and showing a bit more character on day 2, this is what I remember Bougogne balance of the late 90's and early 2000's to taste like.

Superb value white burg. I love it when you can put the glass to your nose and you know it’s Côte de Beaune fruit. Lemon oil drizzle on wet, limestoney gravel, a bit of apple/slightly-underripe peach. Intense attack, with loads of unadorned fruit, really good flavor concentration, and intense, lip-smacking acids. Clean, bracing finish. Nicely done.

Delicious Chardonnay! Loads of Meyer Lemon, peach, pear, caramel, chalk and white flowers. Crisp and refreshing, little creaminess, no oak.
QPR is super ~25! First visit at a Whole Foods Market (Indianapolis)!
